Web Workers Kitchen was created to provide a web based platform for providing information to students of web design.
Trevor Locke, the webmaster
for this site, has been involved in training
web designers since 1998. He found that
it was easier to provide resources over
the www rather than producing paper based
handouts which needed constant updating.

site was published for the first time in
the year 2000. Before that it was a collection
of pages hosted on some AOL web space.
